Depression Glass
True Depression Glass was manufactured
mainly from the late 1920's through the 1940's in the colors of yellow, red,
amber, pink, green, crystal, black, blue and milk glass. Glassware made in the
1950's and the 60's often is also refer to as depression glass and made by
many of the same Glass Companys like Anchor Hocking, Federal, Jeannette,
Fostoria, Hazel-Atlas, Macbeth-Evans, Imperial, Indiana and Westmoreland Glass
to name a few. Two great books, Depression Glass-The 16th Edition by Gene and
Cathy Florence and Warman's Depression Glass-3rd edition are great
identification and value guides and are highly recommended . Another great
source of information is the National Depression Glass Association which you
can find on my links page. We have many different depression glass patterns
such as Early American Prescut,Manhatten, Queen Mary, Royal Ruby, Wexford,
Georgian, Heritage, Sharon Cabbage Rose, American, Aurora, Hobnail, Miss
America, Candlewick, Cape Cod, Iris, Anniversary, Petalware, and American
Sweetheart. Also we have many different colors such as Pink depression glass,
Green depression glass, Blue depression glass, and more.

by Lorraine Kovar is one of the best identification & value guides available
and highly recommended. Glassware, Milk Glass and Electric Lamps made by
Westmoreland are all in this great book. Another great source of information
