Depression Glass

True Depression Glass was manufactured mainly from the late 1920's through the 1940's in the colors of yellow, red, amber, pink, green, crystal, black, blue and milk glass. Glassware made in the 1950's and the 60's often is also refer to as depression glass and made by many of the same Glass Companys like Anchor Hocking, Federal, Jeannette, Fostoria, Hazel-Atlas, Macbeth-Evans, Imperial, Indiana and Westmoreland Glass to name a few. Two great books, Depression Glass-The 16th Edition by Gene and Cathy Florence and Warman's Depression Glass-3rd edition are great identification and value guides and are highly recommended .
