Depression Glass
True Depression Glass was manufactured
mainly from the late 1920's through the 1940's in the colors of yellow, red,
amber, pink, green, crystal, black, blue and milk glass. Glassware made in the
1950's and the 60's often is also refer to as depression glass and made by
many of the same Glass Companys like Anchor Hocking, Federal, Jeannette,
Fostoria, Hazel-Atlas, Macbeth-Evans, Imperial, Indiana and Westmoreland Glass
to name a few. Two great books, Depression Glass-The 16th Edition by Gene and
Cathy Florence and Warman's Depression Glass-3rd edition are great
identification and value guides and are highly recommended . Another great
source of information is the National Depression Glass Association which you
can find on my links page. We have many different depression glass patterns
such as Early American Prescut,Manhatten, Queen Mary, Royal Ruby, Wexford,
Georgian, Heritage, Sharon Cabbage Rose, American, Aurora, Hobnail, Miss
America, Candlewick, Cape Cod, Iris, Anniversary, Petalware, and American

Westmoreland Glass
Westmoreland Glass is some of the most
beautiful glassware ever made. Westmoreland Glass Co. open in 1890 at
Grapeville, Pa. English & American Hobnail were a big hit thru the Depression
Glass years. They started to used the intertwined W G mark in 1949. They
closed there doors for good in 1984. The book Westmoreland Glass " The Popular
Years " 1940-1985 by Lorraine Kovar is one of the best identification & value
guides available and highly recommended. Glassware, Milk Glass and Electric
Lamps made by Westmoreland are all in this great book. Another great source of
information is the Westmoreland Glass Club which you can find on my link page.
Many different patterns and many different hand painted decorations were
produce by Westmoreland Glass Company over the years including Roses & Bows,
Ruby Floral, Panel Grape, Swirl & Ball, Waterford, Mary Greggory, American
Hobnail, Beaded Edge, English Hobnail, Della Robin and Pastel Fruits. Milk

Fenton Glass
The Fenton Glass Company was founded
in the early 1900's by Frank L Fenton and his brother John W. Fenton in
Martins Ferry, Ohio. Carnival Glass was some of the 1st glass made by Fenton
Glass and is highly popular & collectible today. A lot of the Fenton Glass
pieces are hand painted. Beautiful and stunning. Wawasee Antiques has Antique
& Vintage Fenton Glass including the Coin Dot & Hobnail Glass along with
Carnival Glass from before the Depression Years thru the 1970's to the present

50's
and Later Glass - Joe St Clair Glass
50's and Later Glassware on this Page
can be found in many depression glass books, but was made after the 1950's by
Fire King, Indiana, Anchor Hocking and L.E. Smith and other Glass Companys.
Also you will find many pieces of glass and Milk glass with unknown patterns
from after the depression years. Maybe you know or can figure out the the
patterns or glass manufacturer of the other glass and find a super buy here!
