Depression Glass produced from the late 1920's until the mid
40's brings back memories of looking at my mother's and grandma's Depression
Glass in their kitchen cupboards. The main colors that Depression Glass was
made in includes pink, green, amber, blue, and crystal but was also made in
yellow, black, white, and red. Depression Glass often was given for free or as
gifts at stores & gas stations.
Some of your larger Glass companies that
made Depression glass includes U.S. Glass, Jeannette, Anchor Hocking, Paden
City, Federal, Indiana, Hazel Atlas, Imperial and MacBeth Evans. Some of your
most popular Depression Glass patterns include American Sweetheart, Iris,
Cherry Blossom, Miss America, Sharon, and Moderntone.
We also have glassware from before and after the
Depression Glass years made by some of the same glass companies including
carnival glass and milk glass. This is just a small sample of the Depression
Glass, Carnival Glass and Milk Glass available at our Retail Store, Wawasee
Antiques which is located in downtown Syracuse, Indiana.
